Performance Measures

What gets measured gets done! Successful business relationships share one common characteristic—a clear understanding of how performance is measured.

ABS has developed these eight measurements in partnership with our clients. Each of these measurements is a vital link in the reimbursement process and constantly monitored for compliance.

  1. Confirmed orders billed within 24 hours (except CMN hold)
  2. DSO better than industry average of 86 days
  3. Unbilled revenue (i.e., CMN hold) less than 10% of previous month’s revenue
  4. Cash applied within two business days of receipt
  5. Denial rates below 7% billed revenue; tracked by denial code (fewer duplicates)
  6. Denials worked within 10 days of receipt
  7. Monthly notes justification of all receivables 60+ days
  8. Price tables reviewed and adjusted on a quarterly basis
